During the celebration, Turner hosted a special presentation to once again recognise our client, Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), for receiving the Best Tall Building (300m and Above) Award 2025 for Merdeka 118 by CTBUH. While the award was originally bestowed last month in Toronto, witnessing it being celebrated again right here in Kuala Lumpur — and within the walls of Merdeka 118 itself — made it truly unforgettable.

This recognition is more than just an accolade. It reflects the collaborative excellence of the many local and international teams who contributed their engineering ingenuity, design expertise, and commitment to sustainability. Merdeka 118 has now taken its place among the world’s most iconic towers — a landmark achievement showcasing Malaysia on the global stage.

For us at KTA Tenaga, this achievement is deeply personal. We have walked this journey as the M&E Consultant for the project, overcoming challenges and embracing innovation every step of the way. Being part of a landmark development that will inspire generations is an honour we hold with immense pride.
